The Internet provides a powerful resource of information that is unmatched. Learning to use it proficiency with understanding is the goal. This course will cover topics like; responsibility & liability, security, the bigger picture of expense, plagiarism and illegal downloads. Working with Google Chrome in our computer lab provides hands-on learning. The use of keywords, image search, hashtag and more are covered in order to make your internet experience more accurate and fun. Basic Gmail instruction will have you organizing, filtering and provide a little better understanding of your settings panel. This is a stand-alone course that is nested into a series of three classes around Google.
